The following steps and instructions are required to run Microsoft .NET driver for Apache Phoenix Query Server
* Download HDP 2.4 or above from Horton Works. I tested with HDP 2.4 on Oracle VirtualBox
* Install and configure Apache Phoenix
* Configure / add phoenix.queryserver.serialization = PROTOBUF, otherwise, you can't connected from .net application. Refer this link.
* Download .NET driver for Apache Phoenix and Phoenix Query Server from gitbub
* Make sure, you have (nunit and nunit test adapter) installed and configured in VS 2013 or above. I used VS 2013.
* Open VNetTests.cs and change the AlternativeHost value like options.AlternativeHost = "127.0.0.1"; // Give your VM IP address accodingly.
* Execute / debug TableOperationTest() to execute the unit test for against your HDP VM.
